What wordly matters divert us from the remembrance of God?

 

Verse 28 of Chapter 8
And know that your possessions and your children are but a trial and that surely, with Allah is a mighty reward.

Verse 9 of Chapter 63:
O you who have believed, let not your possessions and your children distract you from the remembrance of Allah." Those who do so shall indeed be the losers.


Verse 15 of Chapter 64:
Your worldly possessions and your children are but a trial, and it is Allah with Whom there are rich rewards.
