How much does God emphasize to maintain relationship with and spend for the blood relatives?
Verse 27 of chpater 2:
Those who break Allah's Covenant after it is ratified, and who
sunder what Allah Has ordered to be joined, and do mischief on earth: These
cause loss (only) to themselves.
Verse 83 of Chapter 2:
And remember We took a covenant from the Children of Israel
(to this effect): Worship none but Allah; treat with kindness your parents
and kindred, and orphans and those in need; speak fair to the people; be
steadfast in prayer; and practise regular charity. Then did ye turn back,
except a few among you, and ye backslide (even now).
Verse 177 of Chapter 2:
It is not righteousness that ye turn your faces Towards east
or West; but it is righteousness- to believe in Allah and the Last Day, and
the Angels, and the Book, and the Messengers; to spend of your substance,
out of love for Him, for your kin, for orphans, for the needy, for the
wayfarer, for those who ask, and for the ransom of slaves; to be steadfast
in prayer, and practice regular charity; to fulfil the contracts which ye
have made; and to be firm and patient, in pain (or suffering) and
adversity, and throughout all periods of panic. Such are the people of
truth, the Allah-fearing.
Verse 36 of Chapter 4:
Serve Allah, and join not any partners with Him; and do good- to
parents, kinsfolk, orphans, those in need, neighbours who are near,
neighbours who are strangers, the companion by your side, the wayfarer (ye meet), and what your right hands possess: For Allah loveth not the arrogant, the vainglorious.
Verse 90 of Chapter 16:
Allah commands justice, the doing of good, and liberality to kith and
kin, and He forbids all shameful deeds, and injustice and rebellion: He
instructs you, that ye may receive admonition.
Verse 26 of Chapter 17:
And give the relatives their rights, and to the needy, and to the traveller; and do not waste needlessly.
Verse 22 of Chapter 24:
And let not those who possess dignity and ease among you swear not to
give to the near of kin and to the needy, and to fugitives for the cause
of Allah. Let them forgive and show indulgence. Yearn ye not that Allah
may forgive you? Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
Verse 38 of Chapter 30:
Therefore give the relative his right, and
to the needy, and to the traveller; this is better for those who seek the
pleasure of Allah; and it is they who are the successful.
Verse 6 of Chapter 33:
The Prophet is closer to the Muslims than
their own lives, and his wives are their mothers; and the relatives are
closer to each other in the Book of Allah, than other Muslims and immigrants,
except that you may be kind towards your friends; this is written in the
Book.
Verse 22 of Chapter 47:
Then, is it to be expected of you, if ye were put in authority, that ye
will do mischief in the land, and break your ties of kith and kin?
