Believers should be kind to the unbelievers who are not hostile to them!

Verses 8-9 of Chapter 60:
Allah does not forbid you to treat kindly and act equitably towards those who have neither fought you in the matter of religion nor driven you out of your homes. Indeed Allah loves the just. He only forbids you to take for friends those who fought you in the matter of religion, and drove you out of your homes, and cooperated with others in your expulsion. Those who take them for friends are indeed the wrongdoers.

All believers are muslims, but not all muslims are necessarily believers!

Verses 14-15 of Chapter 49:
The bedouins say: "We believe.'' Say: "You do not believe. But say, `We have submitted,' for Faith has not yet entered your hearts. But if you obey Allah and His Messenger, He will not decrease anything in reward for your deeds. Verily, Allah is Forgiving, Most Merciful.'' Only those are the believers who have believed in Allah and His Messenger, and afterward doubt not but strive with their wealth and their lives for the cause of Allah. Those! They are the truthful.

Who can recognize the signs of God that exist in the heavens and the earth ?

Verse 3 of chapter 45:
Verily, in the heavens and the earth are signs for the believers.

Verse 13 of chapter 45:
And has subjected to you all that is in the heavens and all that is on the earth; it is all (as a favor and kindness) from Him. Verily, in it are signs for a people who think deeply.

Does God decide every matter in a highly blessed night for the coming year?

Verses 1-6 of Chapter 44:
Ha Mim. By the manifest Book that makes things clear. We sent it down on a blessed night. Verily, We are ever warning. Therein (that night) is decreed every matter, Hakim. As a command from Us. Verily, We are ever sending, (As) a mercy from your Lord. Verily, He is the All-Hearer, the All-Know

Although taking revenge is allowed within the same extent of earlier suffereing, the act of having patience, forgiving and making reconciliation is better!

Verses 40-43 of Chapter 42:
The recompense for an evil is an evil like thereof; but whoever forgives and makes reconciliation, his reward is with Allah. Verily, He likes not the wrongdoers. And indeed whosoever takes revenge after he has suffered wrong, for such there is no way (of blame) against them. The way is only against those who oppress men and rebel in the earth without justification; for such there will be a painful torment. And verily, whosoever shows patience and forgives, that would truly be from the things recommended by Allah.

The believers must help and defend themselves when an oppressive wrong is inflicted on them!

Verses 36-39 pf Chapter 42:
Whatever ye are given (here) is (but) a convenience of this life: but that which is with Allah is better and more lasting: (it is) for those who believe and put their trust in their Lord: Those who avoid the greater crimes and shameful deeds, and, when they are angry even then forgive; Those who hearken to their Lord, and establish regular Prayer; who (conduct) their affairs by mutual Consultation; who spend out of what We bestow on them for Sustenance; And those who, when an oppressive wrong is inflicted on them, (are not cowed but) help and defend themselves.

Those who strive only for the purpose of worldly gains can be rewarded by God merely in this word!

No other religion or way of life except His prescribed one is acceptable to Him!

Verses 19-21 of Chapter 42:
Allah is very Gracious and Kind to His servants. He gives provisions to whom He wills. And He is the All-Strong, the Almighty. Whosoever desires the reward of the Hereafter, We give him increase in his reward, and whosoever desires the reward of this world, We give him thereof, and he has no portion in the Hereafter. Or have they partners with Allah who have instituted for them a religion which Allah has not ordained And had it not been for a decisive Word, the matter would have been judged between them. And verily, for the wrongdoers there is a painful torment.

God enlarges the provision or restricts it based on His own criteria, providing insights for the believers!

Verses 49-52 of Chapter 39:
Man is such that when a little affliction touches him, he calls upon Us, and when We bestow Our favor on him, he says, "I have been given this because of my knowledge!" Nay, it is a trial, but most of them do not know. The same was said also by those who went before them, but whatever they earned did not avail them anything. So, they met the evil consequences of their deeds, and the wicked ones among these people, too, shall soon meet the evil consequences of their deeds. They cannot frustrate Us. And do they not know that Allah provides abundantly for whom He wills and sparingly for whom He wills? In this there are signs for those who believe.

Who accept the advice from the revelations of God's Book?

Verse 29 of Chapter 38
This is a Book which We have sent down upon you, a blessed Book, for them to ponder upon its verses, and for men of intellect to accept advice.

Those who believe and do good deeds are few!

Verse 24 of Chapter 38:
(David) said: He hath wronged thee in demanding thine ewe in addition to his ewes, and lo! many partners oppress one another, save such as believe and do good works, and they are few. And David guessed that We had tried him, and he sought forgiveness of his Lord, and he bowed himself and fell down prostrate and repented.

What will be the words of the disbelievers just after they will be raised up from their graves?

Verses 51-52 of Chapter 36:
And the Trumpet will be blown and behold from the graves they will come out quickly to their Lord. They will say: "Woe to us! Who has raised us up from our place of sleep.'' (It will be said to them): "This is what the Most Gracious had promised, and the Messengers spoke truth!''

Will God reward or punish on the Day of Judgement even  for the ongoing effects of the good or evil deeds people did before their deaths?

Verse 12 of Chapter 36:
We shall certainly one day raise the dead to life. We are recording all the deeds they have done and also that which they have left behind. We have preserved everything in an open Book.

Did God promise the Paradise only for one out of the three groups of people who have initially accepted His religion?

Verses 32-33 of Chapter 35:
Then We have given the Book for inheritance to such of Our Servants as We have chosen: but there are among them some who wrong their own souls; some who follow a middle course; and some who are, by Allah's leave, foremost in good deeds; that is the highest Grace. Gardens of Eternity will they enter: therein will they be adorned with bracelets of gold and pearls; and their garments there will be of silk.

Affliction befalls the believers who enjoin the good and forbid the evil?

Verses 16-17 of Chapter 31:
(And Luqman had said:) "My son, even if a thing be equal to a grain of mustard seed and hidden in a rock, or in the heavens, or in the earth, Allah will bring it forth. He is Knower of subtleties and is All-Aware. O my son. establish the Salat, enjoin good, forbid evil and bear with fortitude every affliction that befalls you. These are the things which have been strictly enjoined.

That mankind was created with the same faith, i.e, there is no God (supreme authority) except Him, is reflected at the time of a dire situation!

Verses 30-33 of Chapter 30
Therefore set your attention for obeying Allah, devoted solely to Him; the foundation set by Allah, upon which He created man; do not change what Allah has created; this is the proper religion - but most people do not know. Inclining towards Him - and fear Him, and keep the prayer established, and never be of the polytheists. Those who broke their religion into several parts and became different groups; every group is happy with what it has. And when some affliction reaches men, they pray to their Lord inclining towards Him - and when He gives them a taste of His mercy, thereupon a group among them begins setting up partners to their Lord!

Suffering in the way of God is a trial rather than a punishment from Him!

Verses 10-11 of Chapter 29:
Of mankind are some who say: "We believe in Allah.'' But if they are made to suffer for Allah, they consider the trial of mankind as Allah's punishment; and if victory comes from your Lord, they will say: "Verily, we were with you.'' Is not Allah Best Aware of what is in the breasts of the creatures. And indeed Allah knows those who believe, and verily, He knows the hypocrites.

Does God not guide to the right pathway those people who follow their desires without following His guidance?

Verse 50 of Chapter 28:
So if they do not accept your challenge, then know that they only follow their desires; and who is more astray than one who follows his desires away from the guidance of Allah? Indeed Allah does not guide the unjust.

People deny the revelations of God without comprehending them by knowledge!

Verses 83-84 of Chapter 27:
And (remind them of) the Day when We shall gather out of every nation a host of those who denied Our revelations, and they will be set in array; Till, when they come (before their Lord), He will say: Did ye deny My revelations when ye could not compass them in knowledge, or what was it that ye did?

The great arrogance of disbelievers is reflected in the way they ask questions about the religion!

Verse 21 of Chapter 25:
And those who expect not a meeting with Us said: "Why are not the angels sent down to us, or why do we not see our Lord'' Indeed they think too highly of themselves, and are scornful with great pride.

How much does God emphasize to maintain relationship with and spend for the blood relatives?

Verse 27 of chpater 2:
Those who break Allah's Covenant after it is ratified, and who sunder what Allah Has ordered to be joined, and do mischief on earth: These cause loss (only) to themselves.

Verse 83 of Chapter 2:
And remember We took a covenant from the Children of Israel (to this effect): Worship none but Allah; treat with kindness your parents and kindred, and orphans and those in need; speak fair to the people; be steadfast in prayer; and practise regular charity. Then did ye turn back, except a few among you, and ye backslide (even now).

Verse 177 of Chapter 2:
It is not righteousness that ye turn your faces Towards east or West; but it is righteousness- to believe in Allah and the Last Day, and the Angels, and the Book, and the Messengers; to spend of your substance, out of love for Him, for your kin, for orphans, for the needy, for the wayfarer, for those who ask, and for the ransom of slaves; to be steadfast in prayer, and practice regular charity; to fulfil the contracts which ye have made; and to be firm and patient, in pain (or suffering) and adversity, and throughout all periods of panic. Such are the people of truth, the Allah-fearing.

Verse 36 of Chapter 4:
Serve Allah, and join not any partners with Him; and do good- to parents, kinsfolk, orphans, those in need, neighbours who are near, neighbours who are strangers, the companion by your side, the wayfarer (ye meet), and what your right hands possess: For Allah loveth not the arrogant, the vainglorious.

Verse 90 of Chapter 16:
Allah commands justice, the doing of good, and liberality to kith and kin, and He forbids all shameful deeds, and injustice and rebellion: He instructs you, that ye may receive admonition.

Verse 26 of Chapter 17:
And give the relatives their rights, and to the needy, and to the traveller; and do not waste needlessly.

Verse 22 of Chapter 24:
And let not those who possess dignity and ease among you swear not to give to the near of kin and to the needy, and to fugitives for the cause of Allah. Let them forgive and show indulgence. Yearn ye not that Allah may forgive you? Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.

Verse 38 of Chapter 30:
Therefore give the relative his right, and to the needy, and to the traveller; this is better for those who seek the pleasure of Allah; and it is they who are the successful.

Verse 6 of Chapter 33:
The Prophet is closer to the Muslims than their own lives, and his wives are their mothers; and the relatives are closer to each other in the Book of Allah, than other Muslims and immigrants, except that you may be kind towards your friends; this is written in the Book.

Verse 22 of Chapter 47:
Then, is it to be expected of you, if ye were put in authority, that ye will do mischief in the land, and break your ties of kith and kin

Does God test some people by means of others?

Verse 20 of Chapter 25:
And the messengers whom We sent before thee were all (men) who ate food and walked through the streets: We have made some of you as a trial for others: will ye have patience? for Allah is One Who sees (all things).

Does God encourage marriage in spite of having poverty?

Verse 32 of Chapter 24:
Marry those among you who are single, or the virtuous ones among yourslaves, male or female: if they are in poverty, Allah will give them means out of His grace: for Allah encompasseth all, and he knoweth all things.
