Do people have no right to show arrogance in this land?

Verse 37 of Chapter 17
And walk not on the earth with conceit and arrogance. Verily, you can neither rend nor penetrate the earth nor can you attain a stature like the mountains in height.

Should we not say anything or accuse anyone without proper knowledge or merely on the basis of suspicion!

Verse 36 of Chapter 17
And follow not that of which you have no knowledge. Verily, the hearing, and the sight, and the heart of each of those ones will be questioned (by Allah).

Verse 12 of Chapter 49
O you who believe! Avoid much suspicion; indeed some suspicion is sin. And spy not, neither backbite one another. Would one of you like to eat the flesh of his dead brother You would hate it. And have Taqwa of Allah. Verily, Allah is the One Who forgives and accepts repentance, Most Merciful.

What policy should be practised in commercial dealings?

Verses 282-283 of Chapter 2

O Believers, when you contract a debt for a fixed; term, you should put it in writing. Let a scribe write with equity the document for the parties. The scribe whom Allah has given the gift of literacy should not refuse to write. Let him write and let the one under obligation (the debtor) dictate, and he should fear Allah, his Lord, and should not diminish from or add anything to the terms which have been settled. But if the borrower be of low understanding or weak or unable to dictate (for any reason), then let the guardian of his interests dictate it with equity. And let two men from among you bear witness to all such documents. But if two men be not available, there should be one man and two women to bear witness so that if one of the women forgets (anything), the other may remind her. The witnesses should be from among such people whom you approve of as witnesses. When the witnesses are asked to testify, they should not refuse to do so. Do not neglect to reduce to writing your transaction for a specified term, whether it be big or small. Allah considers this more just for you, for it facilitates the establishment of evidence and lessens doubts and suspicions. Of course, there is no harm if you do not put in writing the common transactions you conclude daily on the spot, but in case of commercial transactions you should have witnesses. The scribe and the witnesses should not be harassed: if you do so, you shall be guilty of sin. You should guard against the wrath of Allah; He gives you the knowledge of the right way for Allah has the knowledge of everything. If you are on a journey and cannot find a scribe to write the document, then transact your business on the security of a pledge in hand. And, if any one transacts a piece of business with another merely on trust, then the one who is trusted should fulfil his trust and fear Allah, his Lord And never conceal evidence for he who conceals it, has a sinful heart: Allah knows everything that you do.

Verse 85 of Chapter 7:
And to (the people of) Madyan, (We sent) their brother Shu`ayb. He said: "O my people! Worship Allah! You have no other God but Him. Verily, a clear proof (sign) from your Lord has come unto you; so give full measure and full weight and wrong not men in their things, and do not do mischief on the earth after it has been set in order, that will be better for you, if you are believers.

Verse 35 of Chapter 17
And give full measure when you measure, and weigh with a balance that is straight. That is good (advantageous) and better in the end.

How should we protect the orphan's property?

Verse 34 of Chapter 17
And come not near to the orphan's property except to improve it, until he attains the age of full strength. And fulfill (every) covenant. Verily, the covenant will be questioned about.

No one should go even near to unlawful sex!

Verse 32 of Chapter 17
Do not even go near fornication for it is a very indecent flung and a very evil way.

How should we spend from whatever we have?

Verses 26-30 of Chapter 17
And give to the kinsman his due, and to the Miskin (poor), and to the wayfarer. But spend not wastefully (your wealth) in the manner of a spendthrift. Verily, the spendthrifts are brothers of the Shayatin (devils), and the Shaytan is ever ungrateful to his Lord. And if you turn away from them and you are awaiting a mercy from your Lord for which you hope, then, speak unto them a soft, kind word. And let not your hand be tied (like a miser) to your neck, nor overextend it (like a spendthrift), so that you become blameworthy and in severe poverty. Truly, your Lord expands the provision for whom He wills and straitens (for whom He wills). Verily, He is Ever All-Knower, All-Seer of His servants.

Verses 67 of Chapter 25
Those who, when they spend, are not extravagant and not niggardly, but hold a just (balance) between those (extremes).

How should we behave with our parents?

Verses 23-24 of Chapter 17
And your Lord has commanded that you shall not serve (any) but Him, and goodness to your parents. If either or both of them reach old age with you, say not to them (so much as) “Ugh” nor chide them, and speak to them a generous word. And make yourself submissively gentle to them with compassion, and say: O my Lord! have compassion on them, as they brought me up (when I was) little.

Does the Devil (Shaytan) have any power over those who believe and put their trust only in God?

Verses 98-100 of Chapter 16
So when you recite the Qur'an, seek refuge with Allah from Shaytan, the outcast. Verily, he has no power over those who believe and put their trust only in their Lord. His power is only over those who obey and follow him (Shaytan), and those who join partners with Him (Allah).

Why has Al-Qur’an been unchanged without a change of a single word for hundreds of years?

Verse 9 of Chapter 15
We have, without doubt, sent down the Message; and We will assuredly guard it (from corruption).

Does the Devil (Shaytan) have any authority over human beings except calling them to his way?

Accepting the invitation of the Devil (Shaytan) is an act of associating him as a partner with God!

Verse 22 of Chapter 14
And Shaytan will say when the matter has been decided: "Verily, Allah promised you a promise of truth. And I too promised you, but I betrayed you. I had no authority over you except that I called you, and you responded to me. So blame me not, but blame yourselves. I cannot help you, nor can you help me. I deny your former act in associating me (Shaytan) as a partner with Allah (by obeying me in the life of the world). Verily, there is a painful torment for the wrongdoers.''

Verses 61-65 of Chapter 17
And remember: when We commanded the angels, "Bow yourselves before Adam," all bowed down except Iblis. He replied, "Should I bow before the one whom you have created of clay?" Then he added, "Just consider this: Was he worthy of this that you have exalted him over me ? If you give me respite up to the Day of Resurrection, I will uproot the whole of his progeny; there shall be only a few of them who will be able to save themselves from me." Allah replied, "Well, get away. Hell is your ample reward and the reward of those who follow you. You may try to allure with your invitation whomsoever you can. Rally against them your horsemen and your footmen: set a partner with them in their wealth and children and entice them with your false promises And Star's promises are nothing but deception. Indeed you will have no power over my servants." And your Lord suffices for you as a guardian.

Will the works of unbelievers be useless on the Day of Judgement?

Verse 18 of Chapter 14
The works of those who disbelieved may be likened, to the ashes which the wind scatters on a stormy day. They shall not be able to gain anything from what they did. This is the extreme deviation.

Verses 103-106 of Chapter 18
Say: Shall We inform you of the greatest losers in (their) deeds? (These are) they whose labor is lost in this world’s life and they think that they are well versed in skill of the work of hands. These are they who disbelieve in the communications of their Lord and His meeting, so their deeds become null, and therefore We will not set up a balance for them on the day of resurrection. Thus it is that their recompense is hell, because they disbelieved and held My communications and My messengers in mockery.

Verses 39-40 of Chapter 24
And (as for) those who disbelieve, their deeds are like the mirage in a desert, which the thirsty man deems to be water; until when he comes to it he finds it to be naught, and there he finds Allah, so He pays back to him his reckoning in full; and Allah is quick in reckoning. Or like utter darkness in the deep sea: there covers it a wave above which is another wave, above which is a cloud, (layers of) utter darkness one above another; when he holds out his hand, he is almost unable to see it; and to whomsoever Allah does not give light, he has no light.

Why and how should the believers rely only on God?

Verse 12 of Chapter 14
And why should we not put our trust in Allah when He has guided us in the ways of our lives? We will bear with fortitude your persecutions of us and the trustful should have trust in Allah alone.

Will disasters strike the disbelievers or those all around them in this world as a lesson and example for them?

Verse 31 of Chapter 13
And what (do you think) would have been the result, if We had sent a Qur'an that would have caused the mountains to move or cleft the earth asunder or made the dead speak? (It is not difficult at all to show such Signs) for Allah has full power over everything. Have the Believers (still any expectations of a Sign in answer to the demand of the disbelievers and) not given up all hope, (knowing) that Allah could have guided all mankind aright, if He had so desired? As for the disbelievers, because of their misdeeds, one affliction or the other does not cease to visit them every now and then, or come near their home. It will go on like this until Allah's threat come to pass. Indeed, Allah does not fail to bring about His threat.

Verses 18-22 of Chapter 32
Is then he who is a believer like him who is rebellious Not equal are they. As for those who believe and do righteous good deeds, for them are Gardens of Abode as an entertainment for what they used to do. And as for those who rebel, their abode will be the Fire, every time they wish to get away therefrom, they will be put back thereto, and it will be said to them: "Taste you the torment of the Fire which you used to deny.'' And verily, We will make them taste of the near lighter torment prior to the greater torment, in order that they may return. And who does more wrong than he who is reminded of the Ayat (revelations) of his Lord, then turns aside therefrom Verily, We shall exact retribution from the criminals.

Which alone can bring comfort to our hearts?

Verses 27-29 of Chapter 13
Those people who have rejected say, "Why has no Sign been sent down to him from his Lord? Say, "Allah leads astray whom He will; and He leads to Himself only those who turn to Him." Such are the people who have accepted and their hearts find comfort in the remembrance of Allah. Note it well that it is Allah's remembrance alone that brings comfort to hearts. Blessed are those who have accepted the Message and done righteous deeds: they have a good end.

Does God lead astray or guide unto Himself based on the desire of an individual?

Verse 27 of Chapter 13
Those people who have rejected say, "Why has no Sign been sent down to him from his Lord? Say, "Allah leads astray whom He will; and He leads to Himself only those who turn to Him."
