Accepting the declaration of any human being except God in relation to what is lawful or unlawful means taking that human being as the Lord!

Verse 31 of Chapter 9
They (Jews and Christians) took their rabbis and their monks to be their lords besides Allah, and (they also took as their Lord) the Messiah, son of Maryam, while they were commanded to worship none but One God, none has the right to be worshipped but He. Praise and hallowed be He above what they associate (with Him).

There will be tumult, oppression and great mischief if the believers do not protect each other!

Verse 73 of Chapter 8
The Unbelievers are protectors, one of another: Unless ye do this, (protect each other), there would be tumult and oppression on earth, and great mischief.

God never withdraws His favor from any people until they themselves become worthy of facing the consequence!

Verses 53-54 of Chapter 8:
This happened in accordance with Allah's way that He does not withdraw the favor He bestows on any people unless they themselves change their ways. Allah hears everything and knows everything. This same principle was applied to the people of Pharaoh and the other peoples before them: when they treated the revelations of Allah as false, We destroyed them in consequence of their sins, and drowned the people of Pharaoh; all these peoples were the workers of iniquity.

Is fighting justifiable till there is no more mischief and the way of life prescribed by God is established?

Verses 39-40 of Chapter 8
O Believers, fight with the disbelievers till there is no more mischief and the way of life prescribed by Allah is established in its entirety. Then if they desist from mischief, surely Allah beholds what they do, but if they give no heed, know it that Allah is your Protector, and He is the best of all protectors and helpers.

Did even prophets have no power to know what would be harmful or beneficial to them in this world except what God let them know?

Verses 187-188 of Chapter 7
They ask you about the Hour (Day of Resurrection): "When will be its appointed time'' Say: "The knowledge thereof is with my Lord (Alone). None can reveal its time but He. Heavy is its burden through the heavens and the earth. It shall not come upon you except all of a sudden.'' They ask you as if you have a good knowledge of it. Say: "The knowledge thereof is with Allah (Alone), but most of mankind know not.'' Say : "I possess no power over benefit or harm to myself except as Allah wills. If I had the knowledge of the Ghayb (Unseen), I should have secured for myself an abundance of wealth, and no evil should have touched me. I am but a warner, and a bringer of glad tidings unto people who believe.''

For whom does God promise His mercy in this world and in the hereafter?

Verses 155-156 of Chapter 7
And Musa chose out of his people seventy (of the best) men for Our appointed time and place of meeting, and when they were seized with a violent earthquake, he said: "O my Lord, if it had been Your Will, You could have destroyed them and me before; would You destroy us for the deeds of the foolish among us It is only Your trial by which You lead astray whom You will, and keep guided whom You will. You are our protector, so forgive us and have mercy on us: for You are the best of those who forgive. "And ordain for us good in this world, and in the Hereafter. Certainly we have Hudna unto You.'' He said: (As to) My punishment I afflict therewith whom I will and My mercy embraces all things. That (mercy) I shall ordain for those who have Taqwa (fear for Allah), and give Zakah (poor-due); and those who believe in Our Ayat (revelations).

Verse 51 of Chapter 40
We will, without doubt, help our messengers and those who believe, (both) in this world’s life and on the Day when the Witnesses will stand forth.

A person who has committed an evil deed must repent and truly believe (i.e., follow the pathway of a believer) to receive forgiveness from God!

Does committing an evil deed detract a person from remaining as a believer until the person repents for that and follows the pathway of a believer?

Verses 151-153 of Chapter 7
Moses prayed: “O my Lord! forgive me and my brother! admit us to Thy mercy! for Thou art the Most Merciful of those who show mercy!” Those who took the calf (for worship) will indeed be overwhelmed with wrath from their Lord, and with shame in this life: thus do We recompense those who invent (falsehoods). But those who do wrong but repent thereafter and (truly) believe,- verily thy Lord is thereafter Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

Fear for God (Taqwa) is the best garment (raiment) for human beings!

Verse 26 of Chapter 7
O Children of Adam! We have bestowed Libas (raiment) upon you to cover yourselves with, and as Rish (adornment); and the Libas (raiment) of Taqwa, that is better. Such are among the Ayat (revelations) of Allah, that they may remember.

God is testing us depending on what He has given each of us!

Verse 165 of Chapter 6
It is He, Who has made you the vicegerents on the earth, and raised some of you above others in ranks so that He may test you in what He has given you. Indeed your Lord is swift in inflicting punishment: yet He is also very Forgiving and Merciful.

Verse 35 of Chapter 21
Every living being has to taste death, and We are putting all of you to trial by passing you through good and bad conditions, and ultimately you shall return to Us.

Setting up partners with God or making anything unlawful never happens under the will of God!

Verses 148-149 of Chapter 6
Those who give partners (to Allah) will say: “If Allah had wished, we should not have given partners to Him nor would our fathers; nor should we have had any taboos.” So did their ancestors argue falsely, until they tasted of Our wrath. Say: “Have ye any (certain) knowledge? If so, produce it before us. Ye follow nothing but conjecture: ye do nothing but lie.” Say: “With Allah is the argument that reaches home: if it had been His will, He could indeed have guided you all.”

Do people like to enjoy in this world by way of disbelieving in the hereafter?

Verse 113 of Chapter 6
To such (deceit) let the hearts of those incline, who have no faith in the hereafter: let them delight in it, and let them earn from it what they may.

Verses 7-8 of Chapter 10
Those who rest not their hope on their meeting with Us, but are pleased and satisfied with the life of the present, and those who heed not Our Signs,- Their abode is the Fire, because of the (evil) they earned.

Will all the good deeds of the people who worship others with God be useless on the Day of Judgement?

Verse 88 of Chapter 6
This is the guidance of Allah with which He guides whomsoever He wills of His servants. But if they had joined in worship others with Allah, all that they used to do would have been of no benefit to them.

How can people feel secured by setting up partners with God, for which He has never sent down any authority to them?

Verses 80-82 of Chapter 6
His people disputed with him. He said: "Do you dispute with me about Allah while He has guided me, and I fear not those whom you associate with Allah in worship. (Nothing can happen to me) except when my Lord wills something. My Lord comprehends in His knowledge all things. Will you not then remember? And how should I fear those whom you associate in worship with Allah, while you fear not that you have joined in worship with Allah things for which He has not sent down to you any Sultan (authority).(So) which of the two parties has more right to be in security If you but know. It is those who believe and confuse not their belief with Zulm (wrong), for them (only) there is security and they are the guided.
