Why should people abstain themselves from dishonesty (such as bribe) and spend money for the benefit of others?

Answer:

Verse 188 of Chapter 2:
Do not usurp one another's property by unjust means nor offer it to the judges so that you may devour knowingly and unjustly a portion of the goods of others.

Verse 195 of Chapter 2:
Spend your wealth in the Way of Allah and do not cast yourselves into ruin with your own hands. Do all things gracefully, for Allah loves those who do all things with excellence.

Verses 29-32 of Chapter 4:
O Believers, do not devour one another's property by unlawful ways; (instead of this) do business with mutual consents And do not kill yourselves; believe it that Allah is Compassionate to you. We shall throw into the Fire the one who commits such acts of aggression and injustice; and this is very easy for Allah. If you abstain from the heinous sins from which you are being forbidden, We will remit your trivial offenses and admit you to a place of honor. And do not covet what Allah has given some of you more than others: the men shall have their due share according to what they have earned and the women shall have their share according to what they have earned. So pray to Allah for His bounty; most surely Allah has perfect knowledge of everything.

Verses 58 of Chapter 4:
(O Muslims), Allah enjoins you to give the trusts into the care of those persons who are worthy of trust and to judge with justice, when you judge between the people. Excellent is the counsel that Allah gives you, for Allah hears everything and sees everything.

Verses 8 of Chapter 5:
O Believers, be steadfast in righteousness and just in giving witnesses for the sake of Allah; the enmity of any people should not so provoke you as to turn you away from justice. Do justice for it is akin to piety. Fear Allah (in your affairs): indeed He is fully aware of what you do.

Why should humans follow the laws given by God?

Answer:

Verse 44 of Chapter 5:
Indeed, We sent down the Torah wherein was Guidance and Light: thereby All the Prophets, who were Muslims, judged the cases of those who had become Jews. Likewise the Rabbanis and the Ahbar (based their judgment on it), for they were made the guardians of the Book of Allah and witnesses to it. So, (O Jews), do not fear the people but fear Me and do not sell My revelations for paltry worldly gains: those, who do not judge by the Law which Allah has sent down, are indeed the disbelievers.

Verse 45 of Chapter 5:
We had prescribed this decree in the Torah for the Jews: "Life for life, eye for eye, nose for nose, ear for ear, tooth for tooth, and for all wounds equal retaliation." However, whoever forgoes retaliation as charity, it shall be expiation for him: those, who do not judge by the Law which Allah has sent down, are indeed the unjust people.

Verses 46-47 of Chapter 5:
Then after those Prophets, We sent Jesus, son of Mary; he confirmed whatever had still remained intact of the Torah in his time. And We gave him the Gospel wherein was Guidance and Light; that too, confirmed what was intact of the Torah at the time; moreover, it was guidance and admonition for the God-fearing people. We had enjoined that those who were given the Gospel. should judge by the Law which Allah has sent down in it: those, who do not judge by the Law which Allah has sent down, are the transgressors.

Verse 50 of Chapter 5:
(If they turn away from the Divine Law, then) do they desire to be judged by the laws of ignorance? Yet there is no better judge than Allah for those who believe in Him.

Why did God create people of different classes?

Answer:

Verse 53 of Chapter 6:
As a matter of fact, in this way We have made some of them a means for testing the others, so that, seeing them, they should say, "Are these the people from among us upon whom Allah has showered His blessings?" Yes: does not Allah know His grateful servants better than they?

Verse 165 of Chapter 6:
It is He, Who has made you the vicegerents on the earth, and raised some of you above others in ranks so that He may test you in what He has given you. Indeed your Lord is swift in inflicting punishment: yet He is also very Forgiving and Merciful.

Verse 28 of Chapter 8:
And know that your worldly goods and your children are, in fact, a test for you, and Allah has plenty for giving you reward.

Verse 55 of Chapter 9:
So let not their great wealth and the large number of their children delude you; for Allah wills to chastise them by means of these very things in this worldly life and that they would die in a state of unbelief.

Verse 27 of Chapter 42:
If Allah had given His provisions abundantly to all His servants, they would have rebelled in the earth, but He sends down in due measure what He wills. He is well informed of His servants and watches over them.

Verse 32 of Chapter 43:
Is it they who distribute the mercy of your Lord? It is We Who have distributed the means of their sustenance in the life of this world and raised some of them above others in ranks so that they may take one another in service. And your Lord's Mercy is far greater in worth than the wealth which (their chiefs) are amassing.

Does God withdraw His favor on any people if they have become unworthy of that?

Answer:

Verses 53-54 of Chapter 8:
This happened in accordance with Allah's way that He does not withdraw the favor He bestows on any people unless they themselves change their ways. Allah hears everything and knows everything. This same principle was applied to the people of Pharaoh and the other peoples before them: when they treated the revelations of Allah as false, We destroyed them in consequence of their sins, and drowned the people of Pharaoh; all these peoples were the workers of iniquity.

How is actually our life in this world?

Verse 24 of Chapter 10:
This worldly life may be likened to the produce of the earth: We sent rain-water from the sky, and the crops of which man and animals eat, grew up luxuriantly. Then at that very time, when the land was at its best, and the crops had ripened and decked out and the owners were presuming that they would be able to benefit from them, Our Command came all of a sudden by night or by day, and We destroyed it so thoroughly as though nothing had existed there the previous day. Thus We expound Our Signs in detail for the consideration of those people who are thoughtful.

Verse 36 of Chapter 47:
The life of the world is but a sport and a pastime. And if ye believe and ward off (evil), He will give you your wages, and will not ask of you your wordly wealth.

Verse 20-21 of Chapter 57:
Know it well that the life of this world is nothing but a sport and pastime, and a show and boasting among yourselves and a rivalry in wealth and children. Its example is of vegetation after a shower of rain, which delighted the tillers, then the same ripens and you see it turn yellow, then it becomes straw. Contrary to this, in the life to come there is severe torment and forgiveness from Allah and His good pleasure. The life of this world is nothing but illusion. Therefore, strive in rivalry with one another in hastening towards the Paradise the vastness of which is like the vastness of the heavens and earth, prepared for those who have believed in Allah and His Messengers. This is Allah's bounty which He bestows on whomever He wills, and Allah's bounty is immense!

Who are the people that accept the true lesson and follow accordingly?

Answer:

Verse 51 of Chapter 6
Give this warning to those in whose (hearts) is the fear that they will be brought (to judgment) before their Lord: except for Him they will have no protector nor intercessor: that they may guard (against evil).
Verse 18 of Chapter 35
No bearer of a burden will bear another's burden, and if a laden soul cries out for help, none will come forward to share the least of its burden, even though it be the nearest kinsman. (O Prophet,) you can only warn those who fear their Lord though they cannot see Him, and establish the regular Prayer. Whoever adopts purity does so for his own good, and to Allah shall all return.

Verses 27-28 of Chapter 35
Do you not see that Allah sends down rainwater from the sky and we bring forth thereby a variety of fruits of different colors? In the mountains also there are streaks, white and red and black, with different hues. And likewise, men, beasts and cattle also have different colors. The fact is that only those of His servants, who possess knowledge, fear Allah. Surely, Allah is All-Mighty, All-Forgiving.

Verse 18 of Chapter 39
Those who listen to the word, then follow the best of it; those are they whom Allah has guided, and those it is who are the men of understanding.

Comments: Only those of the people who have the real knowledge, as reflected by their unique nature of listening to what every one says and whole-heartedly (without the influences of any prejudice and pride) accepting only what is right and true, fear the  Lord of the universe and whoever fears Him honestly are likely to be guided to the right path.

What kind of people are guided to the right path after reading the holy book?

Answer:

Verse 2 of Chapter 2:
This is the Book; in it is guidance sure, without doubt, to those who fear Allah.

Verses 152-154 of Chapter 7:
Those who took the calf (for worship) will indeed be overwhelmed with wrath from their Lord, and with shame in this life: thus do We recompense those who invent (falsehoods). But those who do wrong but repent thereafter and (truly) believe,- verily thy Lord is thereafter Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. When the anger of Moses was appeased, he took up the tablets: in the writing thereon was guidance and Mercy for such as fear their Lord.

Despite believing that God is the creator and governor of the universe, why do some people still give a share of their worship to others?

Answer:

Verse 61 of Chapter 29:
If indeed thou ask them who has created the heavens and the earth and subjected the sun and the moon (to his Law), they will certainly reply, “Allah”. How are they then deluded away (from the truth)?

Verse 63 of Chapter 29:
And if indeed thou ask them who it is that sends down rain from the sky, and gives life therewith to the earth after its death, they will certainly reply, “Allah!” Say, “Praise be to Allah!” But most of them understand not.

Verses 65-66 of Chapter 29:
So when they ride in the ships they call upon Allah, being sincerely obedient to Him, but when He brings them safe to the land, lo! they associate others (with Him); Thus they become ungrateful for what We have given them, so that they may enjoy; but they shall soon know.

Verses 33-34 of Chapter 30:
When trouble touches men, they cry to their Lord, turning back to Him in repentance: but when He gives them a taste of Mercy as from Himself, behold, some of them pay part-worship to other god’s besides their Lord, (as if) to show their ingratitude for the (favours) We have bestowed on them! Then enjoy (your brief day); but soon will ye know (your folly).

Verses 74-75 of Chapter 36:
Yet they take (for worship) gods other than Allah, (hoping) that they might be helped! They have not the power to help them: but they will be brought up (before Our Judgment-seat) as a troop (to be condemned).

Verse 3 of Chapter 39:
Now, surely, sincere obedience is due to Allah (alone) and (as for) those who take guardians besides Him, (saying), We do not serve them save that they may make us nearer to Allah, surely Allah will judge between them in that in which they differ; surely Allah does not guide him aright who is a liar, ungrateful.

Comment: Worshiping others and seeking help from them in the good times of life other than the lord of the Universe demonstrate the highest level of ingratitude towards Him inspite of His numerous favors continuosly bestowed upon all. Moreover, by becoming ungrateful to the God who is everywhere seeing and listening to us for every moment, people like to enjoy the freedom to satisfy their desires within this earth .
